The Playground is a React single-page app that runs entirely in the browser — no backend, no accounts. Students type commands like git add, git commit, and git push into the in-app terminal, and see exactly where each file lives and how it moves.
The visual identity — peach for the local machine, periwinkle for the remote, yellow for staging, green for commits — is part of the pedagogy. Color tells you where you are.
The four guides cover the rest of the loop: teach with the Facilitator Guide, practice with Recall Mode, measure skill with the Mastery Assessment, and measure resilience with the Tilt Rubric. Learning Outcomes names what success looks like.
