Module 07 · Resilience scoring

Tilt rubric.

Mastery isn't only "did they get the right answer." It's "what did they do when things didn't go as expected?" Eight stress scenarios, scored calm-to-crash. Use the seismograph below as you watch them work.

How to use this. Sit with the student during the Playground or Assessment challenges. When one of the eight scenarios below comes up — or you nudge it to — score them 1 to 5.

Calm
Reads. Pauses. Tries a small fix.
2
Steady
Mild frustration. Re-reads error. Recovers.
3
Tense
Re-types same command. Looks for someone.
4
Spiking
Mashes keys. Closes & reopens window. Apologizes.
5
Crash
Gives up. "It's broken." Walks away.

There is no "passing" score — the goal is to see where the student wobbles so you can teach to the wobble. Most beginners spike at scenarios 4 and 7.
